Daniel Clement & Justin Lamoureux, two active members of the Manitoban wakeboard community, have teamed up to Build Flatland Cable Park here in Winnipeg. In order to promote the park, they hosted a premier of the new wakeboarding video Impact, and commissioned this animation as a looping video to keep the tv & theatre screens busy before the movie started.
The majority of the visual elements where pulled from posters and t-shirts illustrated and designed by Daniel Clement, my primary role in this pieces was the assembly of those elements, illustration of additional supporting elements in the established style, and designing and animating the After Effects project.
In addition to the intro, I was also hired as the event photographer. If you're interested, my photos are still hosted here.

This project was one component of a larger campaign. I decided to pair up an uncool product like freestyle yoyos with a cool brand like DC Shoes. The campaign is intended to bring YoYo's back into fashion, targeting the 10-16 market.
